It is affiliated with Lago Law Office, a Makati-based boutique law office primarily engaged in Corporate and Intellectual Property Law practice.

The LAGO IP team is composed of professionals with strong technical and industry backgrounds from different fields supported by a management team with strong legal and corporate background with experience in the finance, business and law sector headed by Ms. Arlene Abeleda-Lago and Mr. Michael F. Lago.

Ms. Arlene Abeleda-Lago obtained her Juris Doctor Degree in Law from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law and was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2003. After working with several prestigious law offices, she founded Lago Law Office in 2006. Prior to her law career, she had experience in the finance and banking sector servicing mostly multinational corporate clients. A lawyer and an entrepreneur herself, with huge exposure in organizing and managing her own businesses, corporate clients sought her insightful, unique perspective and practical legal advice. Ms. Lago is an alumna of the Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Patents sponsored by the Japan Patent Office in Tokyo, Japan 2016. She also completed the Tokyo Summer Intensive Seminar Course 2016 by the Japan Association of Universities for Intellectual Property Education and Reseach in Tokyo, Japan 2016.

Mr. Michael Lago has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Asian Institute of Management which he obtained in 2002. An entrepreneur himself, Mr. Lago has more than two decades of experience in establishing and managing businesses in the food, finance, retail, service, IT and software development industries. His previous work experience includes banking and finance, consultancy, procurement and commodity management. His profound business management experience and expertise in IT, data mining, software development and marketing provide significant value to our organization and our entrepreneur clients sought his thoughtful business opinions and solutions.
